Congratulations. You're already a journalist! Well, sort of. What you see is a rather plain version of your broadcast. The URL at the top of your page is the actual web address of your broadcast. It's what you'll want to share with friends. For now, let's take a look at what's on the page.
Across the top of your page is the menu bar with information about you and your broadcast. From left to right are: our logo, your avatar (or our default), your byline and status text, the icon to share this broadcast via email, the number of subscribers to your broadcast, the number of thumbs-up votes for your broadcast, our welcome, the flagging icon, the help icon, and the logout link.
We've already chosen a general look for you and put a couple of items on the page, you can change them anytime you want.
Your toolbox should already be open along the left side of the screen. If not, click on the "Open Tools" icon in the top left corner of your screen, just below the menu bar. The toolbox gives you quick access to most of PNN's features and your all-important preferences.
Now look at the items on your page. You'll notice that small bars with "edit" and a trashcan icon appear at the top of each item on the broadcast. We call these edit bars. They let you move, edit or delete any of the items. (We'll do this later.)
